Anubhav and Ananya got married in Goa, at a resort set along a quiet stretch of beach, with red-tiled roofs, palm trees and the sea just beyond the property. The ceremony took place under a gold mandap hung with marigold strings, facing the water. Late in the evening, the varmala happened under a shower of petals, and the whole space went still for a moment before everyone started cheering.
We spent most of the day staying out of the way and paying attention to the small things: the way Anubhav leaned in for a kiss on her forehead, the laughter right after the garlands, the two of them walking down the beach in ivory with nobody else around. Their wedding was warm, relaxed and full of family, and these are the frames we remember best.
